Trust, Faith and Grace for Life!
I would like to share with you my background and history in this great part of Washington State, Kittitas County.
I have been a common sense type of person all my life and I don't plan to change that. I've seen a lot of changes in this Kittitas County in the lifetime I have been here (since 1954). I remember when Interstate 90 was being built. It came through a corner of our ranch. The Family still has part of the ranch left.
I now live on the Watt Canyon Road, which is between Cle Elum and Ellensburg, below one of the Elk feeding stations. My family has lived in Kittitas County going on five generations. My family came to this area in 1950 when my grandfather Emmanuel Knudson, and my folks Loel and Necia Knudson, bought property out in the Taneum. It is on the South side of I-90 as you drive East a bit past Elk Heights. I was raised on and privileged to work on our "Heart K" cattle ranch in the Taneum Canyon, which is about 2 miles from where I currently live. We raised commercial beef cattle until 1990 when my dad sold most of the ranch to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. The property that RMEF purchased is now Federal Bureau of Reclamation and the WDFW as of December 2000.
In addition to being a rancher in Kittitas County I have worked in residential construction starting in 1975, a successful general contractor through 2001 and did commercial construction as a "senior multi-craft" position at mills and oil refineries in western Washington, Montana and the Shell Refinery in Martinez, CA.
I started my Real Estate career in 2003 with John L Scott Real Estate and now Ken Rusch, Pooya Roohani and I own and operate "Center Point Realty LLC" in downtown Ellensburg at 221 E 4th Ave. We do residential and commercial real estate sales as well as property management.
Ranching, construction and my real estate experience have helped me to be a professional in the Real Estate Industry.
Areas where I have served both in public and professional service are:
Economic development committee for Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce
Central Washington Home Builders Association Government affairs committee for
Board of Directors for the Washington State Association Of Realtors since 2009

2010-2012 Republican Precinct Committee Officer in the Thorp Precinct.

I am the proud father of three beautiful daughters, (Laci Harrison, Sarah McDonald and Kallee Knudson) and have 7 grandchildren! :-)
As of February 14, 2016, (Yes, Valentines Day) married to my wonderful wife and best friend, Elayne Hovde-Knudson. I have three sisters that live in the area, (Tana Knudson-Smith, Tery Knudson and Kay Shelton).

Have a wonderful day and a happy life!
